2-7 Christmas Party

This past Saturday we got to celebrate the holidays with the 2-7 at Aroma's! We had a great night out and were happy that Abby cooperated so that we could attend the festivities :)

On November 21st some of the lovely ladies from the 2-7 threw a wonderful baby shower for me and Abby! Abby received some amazing gifts and I can't wait for her to get here so that we can use everything!!

Welcome Home Daddy!!!

Ryan spent his summer flying in Guam on a 4 month deployment and Connor, Gracie and I got to go to TN for 3 months and stay with Granny and Paw Paw. We missed him so much and were so glad to get him back in October! I thought that Connor was still going to be too young to really realize that Daddy was not home but he noticed more than I wanted and was over the moon when Ryan got off that plane!

Biggest News - Abigail Elaine due in 3 weeks or less!

Here are a few pics from our 3D ultrasound with Abby at 33 weeks! We can't wait for our little princess to get here!

Update...

So much for keeping our blog updated this past year! You can say I really dropped the ball on that one, right?!?! Well, the year since my last post has been very busy and full of exciting news! Over the past year we have gone through another 4 month deployment, found out that we are expecting Baby Wick #2, Connor had his 2nd birthday and started preschool this fall and I am now a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia! Those are just the main highlights. I obviously can't go back and update everything but will try and hit the high points over the next few days and will hopefully be able to keep things up-to-date now that I am not studying and only growing a human :)

Happy Halloween!

Connor had his first trick or treat experience tonight dressed as Elvis! He kind of enjoyed it but was pretty grouchy for the majority of the night. Apparently trick or treating in the morning would better fit his schedule :) We tried to find an Elvis wig but they were all sold out in the kid sizes so we were going for the younger Elvis look. Enjoy the pics of our little Elvis!

Randoms

Swim lessons

Connor took swim lessons for the past 1 1/2 months and really enjoyed being in the water. As you can see he really didn't care to much about the swimming part he just enjoyed splashing around and watching all the other kids.

Connor Walking

By popular demand here is a video of Connor showing off his walking skills. Over the past 2 weeks or so he has really started walking a lot and without the encouragement of me or Ryan. It is so funny now to look up and see him walking across the room with one of his toys. In a few weeks I will probably be complaining about how all he does is run away from me! Oh well, at least I will be getting my workout! Enjoy!

Bye-Bye Curls

On October 17th (which was also the day he turned 17 months old), Connor had his first haircut. It was so sad to see the curls go but it needed to be done. You can definitely tell that he has curly hair still but it is much more manageable! He looks like a little boy now! So cute!

The Wick Family "Big Orange" Picture

IT'S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!!! Whew, taking a picture of a one year old and a dog is not easy! We could not get both of them to sit still and simultaneously look at the camera so this is the best of all that were taken. It was much easier last year when Connor was not mobile but they still turned out pretty cute! Please notice in the second picture down that my sweet little baby boy is picking his nose! Yes folks, that is his favorite thing to do now and he has progressed to having a finger up each nostril at the same time! Such a boy...I wonder where he learned that from?!?!
