Another awesome birthday present came in the mail today! This has been the best birthday ever for Connor!!!

Swinging...

We found a little park within walking distance from our TLF and took Connor there tonight to do a little swinging. This kid LOVES to swing so much! I believe that we are going to have to get him a swing-set for our backyard in VA!

Connor's Birthday Weekend!!!

We started out Connor's birthday weekend on Saturday with a trip to Zoo World with our friends Christie, Dave, baby Ryan and Cortney. We had a good time even though the zoo wasn't very big and it was HOT!!! On Connor's birthday we were invited to a cookout at Christie's family's house. It was so fun and her brother had a swimming pool so we went swimming too, which Connor loved! They surprised Connor with a cookie cake, which he thought was super yummy, and some presents. It was a great birthday for Connor and he ended the day with a cake that I had baked him. I am pretty sure that he was on a sugar high until about 10:00 last night...he was literally bouncing off the sides of his crib! He had a great day and can't wait for his 2nd birthday!! It's amazing how fast a year goes by! I can remember the day that this little guy came into the world like it was yesterday and I can't believe that he is a year old already. The birthday week begins....

with Connor's new chair from PBK and new clothes from Gramma! I just couldn't wait until Sunday for Connor to get his chair and to start wearing those clothes. He is sitting in his new chair right now watching Imagination Movers on the Disney Channel...too cute!!!

Mother's Day

Yesterday was my first Mother's Day! It was so nice and Connor and Ryan made sure that I had the best and most relaxing day! We had a very nice lunch on the water and then spent the rest of the day just hanging out. I am so blessed to have a wonderful son and husband that treat me so well!

Peek-A-Boo

Connor loves to play peek-a-boo and sometimes gets his hands over his eyes, although they are usually randomly on his face somewhere which makes it even cuter! Here is a video of him playing his cute little game while eating lunch one day!
